1. Replacing Rear
Center High Mounted Stop Light (CHMSL)
Tools Required:
1. 10mm socket/wrench.
2. 15mm torx-bit with driver.
Step 1: Remove the inboard two tails (1
on either side of the CHMSL) with the torx driver
(1 screw holds each light to the fascia)
Step 2: Remove
10mm nuts (4 - total) that secure the CHMSL to
the fascia. You can access 2 nuts from each opening
on either side of the CHMSL.
Step 3: Unplug
the electrical connector from the CHMSL (lift
up on the tab and unseat the connector) prior
to lifting the CHMSL off of the fascia.

(If required, slot
the net hole 2mm rearward in car position)
Step 4: Gently
lift the CHMSL off of the fascia.
Step 5:
Install the "Brite Ideas" CHMSL and
follow steps 3 through 1.
